Assessment of Biochemical Parameters of Graft Survivors Post Renal Transplantation at King Faisal Hospital in Rwanda

Background: Chronic kidney disease (CKD) remains a public health concern of 21st century. Each year, over million people die from CKD resulting the lack proper diagnosis and treatment this terrible urinary system. Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) cause roughly 60% all deaths worldwide. There is insufficient data in Rwanda for management other NCDs facilities. Renal substitution therapy appears to be best solution long–suffering patients with end-stage renal illness who want survive. The study’s purpose was find out serum creatinine blood urea nitrogen (BUN) concentrations among transplanted at King Faisal Hospital Rwanda, show consequences linked transplantation kidney. Methods: This retrospective study carried November 2018 December 2019. were collected medical records Referral Hospital, analysed SPSS version 22. Results: BUN ranged 77.4 93.5% 67.8 87.1%, respectively. levels that abnormally high 3.2 19.4%, while 6.5 29.0%. low, 0.0 9.7%, Diabetes mellitus affected 19.35% population, hypertension 35.48%, antibodymediated rejection 6.45%. Conclusion: slight change biochemical parameters may problem after transplantation. should monitoring tests prevent post complications.
